Let me tell you, based on experience, this Mayu alpaca throw is to die for. I was given a creme throw by Mayu’s artisans as a “thank-you” gift upon finishing my two-year Peace Corps service in Peru. It was considered the ultimate gift and it definitely was. Taking 8-10 days to HAND-KNIT (take a look at Sara knitting in action with her mother by her side), this throw is a true work of art and I’ve treated it as such. I am currently living in Arizona and my beloved Mayu throw is right beside me, despite sometimes scorching temperatures. 
My mom and sister and I give one of Mayu’s alpaca throws to almost everyone we know as a wedding gift — talk about a meaningful and practical gift. Yup, I’d say so! Who wouldn’t want something so luxurious? The colors we’ve chosen are sure to look nice in any house and in any room. We’ve also been known to accept special orders (purple and green!) so if there is something you are wanting, let us know.
Since my time in the Peace Corps, this throw design has come a long way and it is safe to say that the current measurements, stitch and color selection make up the ultimate package, worth every penny spent. Oh, and I shouldn’t forget to mention that this throw will last a lifetime!
